WWII Japanese Army Officers "Samurai" Sword. A Shintō ~ Shinshintō, blade approx Circa 1700, Reused as a WWII Shin Gunto (New army sword). Here is a very nice sword for the money. Just shows minimum wear. Leather covered combat scabbard. Everything is in very nice condition. Blade is bright and clean with no pitting or nicks. Grip wrap is all intact with no breaks. Leather snap strap is all there and still working. Tsuba maintains much of it's original fire gilt.
