NPEA Chained Staff Leaders Dagger
These were introduced in 1936.
There a two makers Eickhorn Max Weyersberg , the Max Weyersberg marked blade is very rare and normally has the distributers mark, Karl Burgsmuller.
The main difference between the Eickhorn and Burksmuller is the center ramp and chain fittings.
Eickhorn has a narrow center fitting and circular chain fittings. The Burgsmuller has a wider center fitting and flat chain fitting.
These daggers are scarce as there was only about 500 permanent teaching staff in the NPEA.
