Hi All,
This has been QUITE a week, so many new questions too? But, this is SO new to me, I wanna go find out more before I start asking

But 2 things, I cant find anywhere. I hope any of you know a bit more? Vormingsbladen, for english-speakers, consists of "vorming" and "bladen". With "bladen" being "magazines", sorta, but in an elite way. More like "periodicals". And "vorming", means "education", which seems sorta correct, but is too loosely as a translation, these are more like "molding" or "shaping" periodicals, making people aware of traditions, the germanic people, what they should stand for, fight for, how to take care of yourself + others, but ONLY others that are germanic like you. It deals with art, poetry, stories, columns but also physical care, how to eat properly, science, tradition, history, future and so on.
About SS Vormingsbladen; I dont know how or where they differ from WA or NSB Vormingsbladen? But I DO know, they're sorta made like the German SS Vormingsbladen. I dont know how these are called, but, no matter. All sortsa fun stuff to learn about these! And about Nachenius, and his ideas, and, wow, actualy READING these Vormingsbladen is awesome!
So, OK, 1st thing; I'm reading 2 opinions;
1 = these SS Vormingsbladen were distributed to SS
members.
2 = these SS Vormingsbladen were distributed to SS
Begunstigende Leden (
Fördernde Mitglieder were called that in Holland, fördernd for Dutch SS ofcourse).
Which opinion is right?
2nd question is, actually, about that little "2" in the 3rd pic? Both Vormingsbladen have this on the cover. Now, 1 is from lentemaand 1941, the other from Sprokkelmaand 1943. Look at both dates in pic 2? Both have the "2" there too? Now, february + march, as these months are nowadays called, are NOT the same months. BUT, somewhere WAY back in time, there WAS no Sprokkelmaand. So, did the Dutch SS go so far back in their folklore and traditions, as to skip the 2nd month as well, making both the 2nd + 3rd month the 2nd month? And, if so, WHY use the names, and not the number for it? Do I make sense? What does that "2" mean? Is it just coincidentally both a different month, but both the 2nd periodical to be published that year?
Sincerely,
Karin-Renate
